The Mission of Serra To foster and promote vocations to the ministerial priesthood in the Catholic Church as a particular vocation to service and support priests in their sacred ministry.
To encourage and affirm vocations to the consecrated religious life in the Catholic Church.
To assist its members to recognise and respond in their own lives to God's call to holiness in Jesus Christ and through the Holy Spirit. Serra GB is the National Council of Great Britain Serra International is the parent organisation and as such sets the
overall vision and direction of our apostolate.
Serrans are Catholic laity, men and women, husbands and wives, youth,
from all walks of life who join our apostolate
with the intention of promoting religious vocations
and developing their own faith and call to holiness. The board of Serra GB is responsible for the promotion of Serra in Great Britain
by assisting the districts and clubs in their work of promoting
vocations and by encouraging the formation of new clubs.
The long term vision of Serra GB is to have a Serra club in every diocese
in Great Britain.
